Pottery Painting comes to Heswall
Welcome to The Art Attic: A Dream Brought to Life
I still have to pinch myself every time I walk through the door of 6 Pye Road Heswall and head into The Art Attic. We have spent years curating the vibe of the space and now its time for us to start using it to teach from.
This space has been a true labour of love. From the very beginning, my vision was to create somewhere that felt warm, welcoming, and full of possibility—a place where anyone, regardless of experience, could come and feel inspired to make something with their hands. I wanted it to be more than just a studio. I wanted it to feel like a little escape from the everyday, somewhere you could slow down, connect, and rediscover your creativity.
Designing The Art Attic has been such a joy. Every detail, from the light-filled corners to the layout of the space, has been carefully considered to create an environment that feels both calming and uplifting. There’s something really special about seeing it all come together and watching people step inside and instantly feel at home.
One of the things I’m most excited about is how this space will bring people together. Heswall already has such a strong sense of community, and my hope is that The Art Attic becomes a place where that spirit can grow even more—through creativity, shared experiences, and a bit of artistic exploration.
I’m also thrilled to be collaborating with Earth Sand & Fire, who will be running pottery painting sessions here over the summer and during half terms. These sessions are designed for everyone—whether you’re completely new to pottery or already love getting creative. There’s something incredibly grounding about gently decorating clay, and I can’t wait for more people to experience that for themselves.
For me, The Art Attic is about opening the door to creativity in a way that feels accessible and joyful. You don’t have to be an artist to come here—you just have to be willing to try. Whether you’re coming along to a class, dropping in to paint, or simply curious to see the space, you’ll always be welcome.
I’ve poured my heart into creating The Art Attic, and seeing it begin to take on a life of its own is incredibly rewarding. This is just the beginning, and I’m so excited for everything that’s to come.
Thank you for being part of this journey—it truly means the world.
